Silk Fabric
Eco friendly fabrics and clothes are becoming more in demand, and British Made Eco have a newly launched website which is set to supply that demand to customers looking for an ethically made, quality product. British Made Eco follow by a set of rules such as using a British Factory, local workers and ethically made fabrics in order to reduce the impact the production has environmentally and socially. They use a variety of materials that you might not expect to see, such as bamboo and hemp, but also more traditional materials such as Silk Fabric. The website offers information on the fabrics it uses, such as the production process of silk below:
"In silk production, this silky filament is unwound from the cocoon, then reeled together to create strands. These fine strands are then wound together in a process called “throwing” to produce silk yarn". An easily navigatable and interesting website, with information and quality products available to buy.
