German Sausages

I was absolutely gutted when I found out I wouldn't be able to take my annual trip to Munich's Oktoberfest this year after agreeing to a prior commitment. After the initial state of depression wore off, I began thinking of ways that I could spend what is normally the best weekend of the year. And then it struck me. If I couldn't get to Oktoberfest, then I would bring Oktoberfest to me!

I began scouring the Internet for suppliers of German food and drink, and then there it was: Essentially German. The site specialises in cuisine from German-speaking countries, like Germany (obviously), Austria and Switzerland.

My shopping list included German Sausages, German Beer and of course some cheese spaetzle! They were all available at Essentially German, and all at a really great price.

My Oktoberfest party was a huge success, with all my friend absolutely loving it. So much so that they've agreed to come with me next year.
