Hockey Stick
My Brother Josh’s life pretty much revolves around the game of hockey. I think since he was old enough to grip he’s had a little stick in his hand, dribbling round the house; both with a ball and from his mouth!
Unfortunately he recently suffered a pretty nasty accident whilst playing, breaking his leg in two places. It’s really eating him up to know that he won’t be playing for a few months whilst he rehabs his injury.
To try and cheer him up I thought I’d get him a present to lift his spirits and give him something to look forward to once his hockey career got back on track.
He’d mentioned Nedstar’s website several times as a supplier of hockey sticks he really liked. I checked them out and I could instantly see why he liked them so much. Their designs were exactly to his tastes with a pretty obvious influence from extreme sports, merged with more traditional hockey sticks.
I asked some of his teammates which hockey stick he would most prefer, and as a really nice gesture, they all offered to chip in to cover the cost. Together, we bought him Nedstar’s top of the range model, the superfly.
Josh’s face lit up when we presented it to him; he was so pleased and really touched by the gesture. He can’t wait to get his physio sessions started, so he can get back out on the pitch and do what he does best with his new stick in his hands.
